I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Deloitte (Thessaloníki) in Feb 2021
Interview
First there was a programming test (1h simple tasks in order to show your general understanding of programming). Then, the 1st interview was HR based but there was at least on more technical. In general, it was really professional.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions were about my thesis and my so far projects.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Deloitte in Aug 2020
Interview
I had applied through Referral. They responded and my interview was done within a week.
1st round- It went really well. The interview had immense knowledge in Big data.
I waited for nearly a week for a callback. When I did not get a response even after dropping a mail to the HR, I contacted my friend who had referred me to check. He reverted with the message that my profile has been aligned for PySpark developer. Since there is no current OB in that, they pick my profile after OB requirement comes for the same.
It's been 2 months, I have contacted the HR but didn't get any response. Tried all sources of contacting Deloitte. Nothing worked.
My advice to Deloitte is that at least have a basic courtesy and professionalism to respond to the interviewees. We spent our valuable time for a reason.

Project architecture
Scenario based on SCD- type implementation in Spark
Difference between Repartition and Coalesce? etc
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2020
Interview
1 interview round that took place in the Toronto HQ for the Omnia AI team consisting of behavioural cases along with a few technical questions regarding AI/ML & classification algorithms. There wasn't any whiteboard coding interview but this can vary depending on your interviewer. Typically, they just ask technical questions for you to explain verbally to see how you think. The interview lasted about an hour. I got a call back in 2 weeks with the offer in which I had about a week to decide if I wanted to sign.
Tell me when you used a particular ML algorithm(based on projects on resume) and why exactly you chose that. Is there anything you would change? Did it meet the satisfied goal or requirement?
They may ask you specifics about certain algorithms if you are applying for a data sci role. However for dataeng, its less likely they'll do that and could possibly ask you questions about your experience with big-data and any projects or problems you've had to solve about it.
