I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Deloitte (Bengaluru) in Oct 2020
Interview
College Placement Experience
The Interview process is the worst bunch of shitload crap that I have seen. I tell you this as I have gotten into companies with tougher interview processes, with tougher aptitude questions. And have also given the same AMCAT test and scored really well and got through the process of another company.
This proves that the process of the company is pretty flawed and I request no student aspiring to get placed to even trust the process as it is as unpredictable as corona virus numbers or the vaccine coming out.
The process involves:
Aptitude Round on AMCAT-SHL
Quantitative Aptitude
Reasoning Ability
Verbal Ability
JAM for Deloitte USI - Case study and business related topics
GD for Deloitte India - Case study and business related topics
HR Interview Round - The regular grilling process
I request students to not take the process seriously and lower your morale based on the judgement of the company as they don't want excellent hardworking candidates but they want average noobs who will feel indebted for being selected and won't even know why they got in.
And if you wanna get in, you know what you have to be.
I am not talking for myself, this is the issue for our college where the Placement officer also didn't help. A bunch of my friends got through the first round of the test and suddenly a week later, they said they weren't eligible for the process. No account was given why. This autocratic twentieth century British behavior must stop and they should have some accountability and transparency in the process.
