I applied to several positions through their website, and heard back from the HR recruiters immediately. The recruiters were excited and eager to move forward by scheduling phone interviews with prospective hiring teams. Unfortunately, the recruiters don't seem to know much about the positions they're recruiting for. I had over 10 phone interviews and then was invited to attend 2 in person panel interviews. My background experience was a better fit for the first panel interview, however, I couldn't attend that one due to short notice (1 day before). When I told the HR rep that I couldn't make it, she shrugged it off, encouraged me to attend the 2nd panel interview, and assured me that if that didn't work out, she'd re-schedule the 1st panel interview I missed. Well, she did not! When I arrived to the 2nd panel interview, my first reviewer was late and rushed. The second reviewer just fished for gossip (apparently she had just left the company I was currently employed at), and the third interviewer just talked about how great the company was. Not once did I get the chance to discuss my skills, experience, or interest in the company. Needless to say, I was very disappointed when the HR rep told me that they were not going to make an offer at this time. When I reminded her about the first panel I missed, the one she promised to re-schedule, she just repeated that they were not willing to move forward at this time. Her response was frustrating, for she didn't provide clear feedback. This experience was very stressful and depressing for me. I put aside a lot of time and effort for over 14 interviews, and received nothing but positive feedback until after the panel interview.
