I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (Chisinau) in Jun 2014
Interview
I completed an application form and after that I was reached via email and was given a username and password to perform a couple of test, there where several texts and charts open in different tabs, and you had to answer as many questions as possible juggling all those tabs with limited time and also a English test where you had to choose the correct word from 3 options. After that I was contacted on Friday at 8 o'clock pm and agreed for a interview on Monday. Was contacted again on Sunday and was told that they postponed the interview to Thursday. Was interviewed by 2 persons, in English, although no audit experience was needed, as stated in the job ad, was asked about experience. Standard questions like what was the most difficult moment at work/school and how did you overcame it, what motivates you, describe yourself, how you handle stress, why audit. When I mentioned I like to travel in my free time was scoffed at and told that they don't get to travel as they are very busy, which I found strange because an annual paid vacation is a given in my country. Was told that they will let me know the results in a 2 weeks. After 3 weeks I contacted them via email, asking about the interview result, as I was accepted at another place however Deloitte was my first option, after 2 days I was kindly let down, was told that although they were impressed by my abilities they can't offer me a position and I was welcome to apply again in the future.
After doing online aptitude test (SHL), I was invited to attend the Group Assessment conducted with 8 candidates within 60minutes of case study and presentation. I was invited to the next round of partner interview.

Question 1
So far there are not any questions on personal details or CV. Just follow-up questions based on case study.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Deloitte in Feb 2012
Interview
Great Interview process, similar to the rest of the big four companies (PwC, EY and KPMG).
Very efficient and effective. I submitted my application on a friday, had a phone interview on the monday and asked to attend an interview later than day. I was interviewed the next friday and got a job offer 1hour after the interview.
Online application where you submit your CV, Transcript and Cover letter.
Online testing is easier than PwC's which is great. Pwc's online testing is quite intense and not very representative of actual skills (you are given 1 minute per question, which includes reading a massive paragraph and then totalling columns before you can even start considering the question at hand).
The phone interview is approximately 10-30minutes and is done by someone from HR.
Questions included "why you want to work for Deloitte...", "a current news item of interest...".
Interview was very well done. A male partner and a female head of recruitment interviewed me. The interview lasted over 1hour and was enjoyable.
They gain a very thorough view of their prospective employees by questioning everything on your CV, even individual papers you took at university and why you made the choices you have made. Excellent. Questions were good. A well conducted two way interview.
Was given an office tour after and introduced to employees.
Was called by the Partner 1hour later and offered a position.
Deloitte is the fastest firm of all the big four to complete their recruitment process, they don't waste time and are very friendly and helpful.
