Deloitte Analyst interview questions

I recently went through the interview process with Deloitte in Brussels, and overall, it was a structured and engaging experience. It started with an online application through their careers portal — I submitted my CV, a motivation letter, and my academic transcripts. After a few days, I received an email inviting me to complete an online assessment. The online test included logical reasoning, numerical exercises, and a few situational judgment questions. It wasn’t overly difficult, but it definitely required focus and time management. A couple of days after completing the test, I was contacted by someone from HR for an initial interview. The HR interview was held over a video call and lasted about 30 minutes. The recruiter asked about my motivation for applying, my background, and what I knew about Deloitte’s values and structure. It was quite conversational, and I felt that they were really trying to understand if I would be a good fit for the team and company culture. The next step was a case interview with a manager from the department I applied to. They gave me a business scenario and asked me to walk through how I would approach the problem. I had to structure my thoughts, ask clarifying questions, and suggest a strategy based on the information provided. It was definitely the most challenging part of the process, but also the most interesting. After that, I was invited to a final interview with a Partner. This part was less technical and more about getting to know me on a deeper level — we discussed my long-term goals, my interest in the industry, and how I saw myself contributing to the firm. The Partner also took the time to explain how Deloitte Brussels is evolving and what kind of mindset they’re looking for in new hires.
