A Dell employee submitted my resume to a team, and the director invited me for an interview within a week. I had a second round interview a week after that. A recruiter from Dell called the next day with an offer. Although I had submitted my resume online some years ago, the recruiter was not able to locate it. I ended up having to resubmit online three more times after they sent me the offering letter. The two interviews I had with the director, however, was the best interview I've ever had because 1) the director reviewed my resume thoroughly and he was fully prepared during both interviews; 2) the director did not rely on "keyword matching," but skills I applied to various project; 3) the director and other members who interviewed me were very blunt with the expectation as well as areas they would like to improve.
I ended up not accepting the offer because I had a better offer elsewhere. Still, I think I would have enjoyed being part of this director's team.
