Interview was fairly easy. If you are interviewing for a seamstress job you may be given a sewing test. Knowledge of bustles, delicate floral work, and baby hems is very important. Job offered very quickly. In this case it was a red flag. Management was desperate for new employees yet had unrealistic expectations and regularly made a habit of throwing new employees into brand new circumstances and learn everything in a few days. High turnover rate probably due to lack of respect given to employees. Employees were demeaned in front of guests and seamstresses were yelled at for situations beyond their control. No formal directions given about meal and break periods, bathroom breaks, uniform, or really anything useful to the new employee. Let them know what days you can't work early on as any time taken off or days of the week needed for other responsibilities may be scorned upon later on. Bottom line prioritized over people. Do not recommend. If you just do it, have an escape plan.
