I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods in Mar 2011
Interview
I received a phone call from the recruiter and his assistant. They were both very polite and pleasant to speak to. They provided very pertinent information about the company and job, and answered all of my questions. Once done, they explained what would happen next, keeping me informed. All in all, a very good interview.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Pittsburgh, PA) in Dec 2010
Interview
I first had a phone interview with 2 separate recruiters. The second one was really impressed and I got a phone call following to set up an in-person interview. They flew me in town for a day of six consecutive 1:1 interviews. There were openings in two areas so I met with everyone from both teams. It was an exhausting day but everyone was really friendly and positive. One person asked situational questions, the rest were more focused on experience, my goals, and even some personal interest questions.
I think the company would be great to work for and very challenging. Definitely team-oriented. Great outside benefits like on-site gym, cafeteria and other facilities.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Dothan, AL) in Feb 2011
Interview
Within a day of applying online, I was contacted for a phone interview. The next step is a 1:1 interview with the hiring manager. Questions were easy to answer and I would say the interview was average.
