Interview
I applied online on December 2013 and I got a call from them a month later asking if I was available for an interview. I accepted it and they gave me the choice on which day and time was best for me. So when I got to the interview with the store manager. he asked me questions from this typed-up generic packet that he had (I guess they use that for all interviews). The vast majority of the questions were related to experience with customer service, cashiering, and interest and playing in sports. After the interview, he said that I would get a call the next day if I am a "good fit", but I had to do an 25 minute (80 question) online "personality" survey with was very easy that did not reflected on your 1:1 interview.

Question 1
Has there every been a time where you had to get out of your way in order to help a customer?
Has there every been a time (while working) where you were given a task(s) and exceeded beyond expectations?
Have you every gone through any sort of challenge that had an impact on your physical performance? How did you overcome it?
Name a time where you motivated someone in relation to sports?
Job interview was typical of a minimum wage company. Nothing flashy, just tell them you are not weird and you enjoy sports. If any interests stand out to you, be sure to tell them immediately. Again, just a minimum wage job so no need to over think this interview. No drug test.

Question 1
Nothing. Seriously, why do you like sports? Retail experience? What have you played? Can you work weekends, nights, and never ask off during the holidays? If you agree to work for near nothing, work when they need you, then you have the job.
