I applied online. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Niles, IL) in Nov 2014
Interview
You go through 2 interviews one with a general manager and then the second with store manager. After the first interview you take a online questionnaire. The questionnaire is just situations and if you agree or disagree that it is right or wrong. It's fairly easy, if you have retail experience you will do fine. Just make sure to sit right and make eye contact they love that.

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Pittsburgh, PA)
Interview
I was denied online, but the agency I was working with pushed my resume through. The hiring manager said she rejected me due to me applying for jobs at DSG outside the Human Resource field. I explained my interest in working for DSGs and how the jobs I applied to previously were similar to HR, such as Admin Assistant ect. Reluctantly, she scheduled me for an interview with the agency's referral. I had two back to back interviews with two representatives at the emasculate headquarters. While I appreciated the time, the interviews were not engaging. I answered their questions, but they did not offer any information to me that would excite me or engage me about the position. Rather dry and meaningless. They never got back to me, rather went through my agency.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Cincinnati, OH) in Nov 2014
Interview
I applied online on a Sunday morning and got a call to come in for an interview the next day. My interview started on time and was with what they call the "hardline" manager. First round of interview questions were about my prior job experience with a focus on customer service. The next round of questions were about sports. After my interview with the "hardline" manager, I had to take an opinion survey with about 50 question. After I completed the survey, the "hardline" manager asked me if I had anywhere to be and I said no so I had an immediate second interview with the store manager. I was offered a job on the spot.
