I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Lake Charles, LA) in Feb 2014
Interview
Was friendly and to the point. Nothing was left to question and the interviewers even gave me a video and study material. Had to sit down and talk about what drove me and we discussed hobbies and sports we played. All about that competitive edge
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Atlanta, GA) in Oct 2018
Interview
I had one interview with the store manager, but I have read there are typically two interviews (one with hiring manager, one with store manager). He asked the typical questions about why you want to work there, how you've handled a difficult situation before, a leadership position before, etc, nothing that wasn't expected. He did not seem very interested in the answers, but he needed to fill out the interview form. He was looking to hire as many as possible, but he did not seem to be very selective. No background check or drug test either.
