The interview process began with a 20 minute scheduled phone screening with a recruiter, who was very pleasant and easy to talk to. They get a good sense during the phone screening of whether you meet the baseline qualifications and if you would fit with the company culture. After the phone screening, the recruiter schedules you with a series of 3-4 interviews with the person you would directly report to and others in or adjacent to the department. Each of those interviews lasts about 30 minutes and serves as an opportunity for them to get to know you and ask job-specific, as well as personal, questions.
