I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Crowe LLP (New York, NY) in Oct 2012
Interview
Go to all on campus events. Learn about the company. Ask questions about things NOT on their website. Only proceed if you are genuinely interested. Email the recruiter, managers, etc that you spoke with and express your interest.
Get invited to 1st round interview (on campus). Questions are about teamwork, team conflicts, why you chose auditing, why you chose your school, etc.. This is where genuine interest comes in. Next question .. why Crowe?
2nd round interview is at the firm. Have not had that yet. Find out next week.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time when your team members and you did not see eye to eye, disagreed, etc ... and hw did you resolve it or come to a resolution?
Easy process and very nice people. Did three total interviews. The recruiting people kept you updated for the process and where you were at and gave a lot of good information. It was a timely process and did not take too long.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Crowe LLP (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
I had a referral, and the interviews were behavioral. Nothing technical very technical at least for my experience. The senior managers were chill and the process was quick, only took maybe 45 mins. They let you talk about what you want to showcase.
