I applied through other source. I interviewed at Crowe LLP (Dallas, TX) in Jul 2016
Interview
For me, the interview process was very easy. I had worked part time in another location during college and decided to transfer my internship offer to another location for a new opportunity upon graduation. Crowe was very supportive of this transfer, and when I came out to the new office for a visit, it was more so "talking" than it was being grilled with hard questions. From other people I have conversed with, depending on location, they will take groups of applicants to lunch and see how you fit into the culture of the firm. As long as you are willing to learn and have a positive attitude, getting an offer is not that difficult. In fact, some people get an internship without even have taken an audit or tax class. After the internship, you have an exit interview with a partner, but again, it's more so "talking" than answering questions, as they know whether or not you are hired before you step in.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
If you're applying for audit, they will ask you your preference between Financial Services (FI; i.e. banks) or Assurance (manufacturing & distribution, retail dealerships, government, construction, etc.). If you don't know, tell them you would like to get your feet wet in both areas and see what's best for you! Most people don't really know until they start working.
The interview process for an Audit Internship at Crowe typically begins with an initial phone or virtual screening with a recruiter to discuss your background, interest in accounting, and availability. This is followed by one or two interviews with audit team members or managers, focusing primarily on behavioral questions, teamwork experiences, and your understanding of basic accounting concepts. Candidates may be asked about coursework, internships, or how they handle deadlines and collaboration. The final stage may include a conversation with a senior manager or partner to assess cultural fit and long-term interest in public accounting.
Asking questions and getting to know you. It was easy going. They ask questions about you as well. There was two who did the interview. It was easy going, I was stressed as first
