I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Costco Wholesale (Albuquerque, NM) in May 2011
Interview
Interviewed by middle manager to see what I was interested in; and gauge potential. Then follow up interview by a senior manager to gauge competence and work ethic. Final interview is conducted by a warehouse manager or their assistant to offer a job and establish initiative and compliance. Basically, each manager filtered different kinds of information; which was aggregated by upper management to determine if a hiring offer was to take place or not.

Interview
Looked at sign up sheet at the door, it looks like I'm the only applicant going in for an interview and everyone else were employee. Two guys interviewed me on the spot day. I answered to them very straight forwardly and that was it; they told me to come back the next day for drug and background.
