I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Costco Wholesale in Jun 2016
Interview
I was contacted by phone and asked for an interview. However the interview was done with two people asking different questions. Which I have to admit is extremely intimidating, it made the situation feel more like an interrogation instead of an interview. Also three of the questions were worded differently and basically the same question in the end. Costco seems like a good company to work for from what you read. However their hiring is consistent so there's a good chance you'll never see a job opportunity unless you have hook ups.

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Costco Wholesale (Los Angeles, CA) in Jun 2016
Interview
It took an hour. The manager was very nice and talkative and he wanted to know a lot about me. We also shared a lot in common like going to the same cc and UCLA.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Costco Wholesale (Farragut, TN) in Jun 2016
Interview
The assistant General manager asked several generic questions he invented himself about my qualifications to to the job. After he finished asking the questions, he told me the questions did not actually matter and he would not be allowed to choose the New manager anyway, despite it being a department he directly oversees. In the end the General manager would make the choice based on what he wants.
