Continental interview questions

Ich wurde von einem Personaler in einen Konferenzraum geleitet. Dieser und der Teamleiter waren bei dem Vorstellungsgespräch anwesend. Erst wurde mir der Konzern und speziell der Bereich vorgestellt. Danach sollte ich mich kurz vorstellen und es wurde auf den Lebenslauf und den Notenspiegel eingegangen. Speziell evtl. Praxiserfahrung war relevant. Nachdem dies geschehen ist, wurde ich höfflich entlassen und man sagte mir, man melde sich bei mir.

Received an email with request to a telephone interview after I completed an online assessment test. Telephone interview lasted for about 30 minutes. A recruiter trainee and experienced recruiter spoke. The trainee said she would take notes as I speak. In the middle of the interview, the recruiter asked if he can switch to German and I requested to continue in English. The job description has not mentioned for any German skills. He was quite cheerful and the interview was very focused on situation based questions. He started with regular about yourself question and asked me to describe a situation in the past where I have pushed my limits and have done something. He asked the same question again and again three times asking me to think of an incident and tell more. That was wierd. Overall, it was fine but I don't get the offer though I thought I was qualified. My German skills could have been a problem. I was mislead by the job posting.
