I applied online. I interviewed at Continental (Canton, MS) in Jun 2020
Interview
Interview was a little intimidating because I was low balled on my starting hourly wages and I didn’t know if I turned the offer down that I would not be hired so I desperately excepted it in the mixing department.
Interview questions [1]

Can you or are you available for 12 hour shifts? The system is set up where if you don’t work the 12 hour shifts on Saturday and Sundays twice a month, you will not get close to 40 hour weeks. No overtime is paid for working the 12hour shifts by design!

I applied through college or university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Continental (Coimbatore) in Jul 2018
Interview
This has to be the worst interview experience I ever had. Continental came to our campus for placements and they were planning to hire students from mechanical, electrical and computer science. First round was an online exam which included basic technical questions and some quantitative aptitude questions. On the day before the first round they announced that they changed their plans and won't be hiring mechanical engineering students, this was a major letdown for those students.
After the first round they published a rank list and fortunately I got second rank in computer science department. Some students who were in the lower ranks were filtered out after this round.
The interview was scheduled after a couple of days and on that day they were very reluctant to call students from computer science department for the interview. Later we realized that none of the people who came to interview us were from CS backgrounds, they were not willing to interview us. Only electronics students were called in for the interview while we had to sit there for the entire day. By the end of the day after interviewing all the electronics student they started calling few of us for the interview. I was one of the first person to get called.
The first thing that the interviewer told me was "your profile does not match the requirements, if you are interested we can continue with the interview or we can stop here", I was shocked to hear this, we wasted and entire day just to be rejected without a proper interview??
I demanded an interview coz I have already wasted that entire day waiting for it
He asked me some basic electronics related questions which included logic gates, after that more complicated questions were asked and I was unable to answer them. I was pretty sure he was trying to end the interview as soon as possible.
The results of the interview were published the next day and to no one's surprise no student from CS were given any offer. This was an absolute waste of our time.
