I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Collins Aerospace in Jan 2024
Interview
Incredibly poor experience overall - Was contacted by them by email to set up an initial call. My replies and calls got no response over the next 2 weeks before they finally confirmed a time. The call itself was just 4 completely closed questions without even a "tell me about your last role/experience". All 4 questions were very basic and included "How many people have you managed"? And "Where was your Manager based"? Very little information given about the role and company from their side and clearly no interest in me as a candidate. It felt like a throwaway token call they didnt want to be on so just wasted both sides time.
I was told I would hear the following week but as expected there has been no contact at all for 6+ weeks despite me making a point of chasing up.
This was an interview for a Senior Management role. For the sake of their employer brand I hope I was just unlucky and this terrible candidate experience is not common.

Interview
Zoom meeting. Starts off like it'll be a behavioral interview, but quickly transitions into a technical interview. Have heard it can go either way for the initial software development interview.
