I applied online. I interviewed at Collins Aerospace (Cedar Rapids, IA) in Jan 2021
Interview
I received an invitation to do a one-way video interview through HireVu (the first step in the hiring process). The process itself wasn't too difficult (just some multiple-choice questions and 3 video response questions) but the interview felt kind of awkward because I wasn't talking to a real person and the responses have a time limit. There's also no way of asking any questions about the position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked for an introduction about yourself and how your skills fit the position.
Pretty Lame. Asked the standard questions. Went through several interviews. The highlight was the lunch at the deacon club. Never got to interview with the big boss and was never introduced to him for three years.
The interview that I had was more of a get to know you interview. They asked me about some of the courses I had taken on my resume rather than asking me technically oriented questions.
