I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Collage.com (Salt Lake City, UT) in Jul 2018
Interview
I attempted to apply and received a cold shoulder, complete with being ignored when I followed up to politely ask for a rationale as to why I was not given fair consideration.
It seems to indicate they have a kooky notion of determining 'fit' for a prospective employee, or maybe they're just super arrogant? Thankfully I will never have to know.
More likely than not I dodged a bullet. I smell a company that makes poor decisions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They only asked two. You can find their questionnaire fairly.
Was typical and thorough. Easy code screen, short live coding and take home, and finally a bevy of interviews with managers and leadership. Everyone was friendly and seemed to like their jobs.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Collage.com (Tomball, TX) in Aug 2019
Interview
Recruiter reached out. Initial phone screen with recruiter talking about experience and job fit. Video interview with engineer with questions about processes and fit. Code screen question about simple JavaScript. Another take home assignment that is more complex involving design review, JavaScript coding standards and decisions, and performance. Another coding video interview. Finally two interviews with founders. Everything was appropriate for a senior level applicant.
