I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Coldwell Banker (Miami, FL) in Jan 2015
Interview
They want to know a little bit about you. Interviewing for a position at a real estate company is contradicting to the normal idea of a job interview, in this situation, the applicant is there to find out about the company. I asked questions, wanted to learn about the company, their commission split, their training, their services, and resources.
You interview the broker/office manager, versus them interviewing you. It’s an easy, fairly informal process that can take place in the office or offsite at a location of your choosing. This is where you learn about the company and ask any questions you have.
Fluid process. Very transparent about commission splits, front desk office time requirements, charity work for the community and administative process in the office relative to paperwork, invoice submission and marketing material provided.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Coldwell Banker (Greenwich, CT) in May 2020
Interview
I met with the manager in a one-on-one interview, she asked about my experience and my professional goals. In addition to discussing their referral program and company structure, I was given a tour of the office and met some of the other sales associates.
