Cognizant Sr. Associate interview questions

Worst interview experience ever, when i went for the interview i already had offers from some companies like Goldman Sachs and Intuit. Just went for experience. Proved one thing to myself, all these companies like Infy,TCS,Wipro,HCL,CTS are body shopping companies asking bookish questions because they don't need intelligent people, they need parrots who learn everything by heart from books, this guy kept on asking me bookish questions, syntax and felt very proud when i could not answer, smiled. He asked me one good question about hashing, but when i started explaining him the inner details, he was blank, did not know about Entry . Guess what, i was rejected because i could not write the exact syntax and i looked tall, handsome and smarter than him (kidding aside) So, it comes out that Dumb people hire dumb people.

I got a intital communication from cognizant HR reg a open position in San Jose CA for Hadoop developer position. I had interview with the Cognizant folks which I cleared. Then I had 3 rounds of technical discussion with clients which went for 1.30 hrs. Clients grilled me more on Java and Hadoop knowledge. Finally I got the offer.
