The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Code Ninjas
Interview
The interview process was not difficult. The main thing the company cares about, at least in my experience, is your ability to work with kids. That is the most important thing apart from some basic knowledge of programming, but that isn't really even a requirement since they are mainly working from a curriculum.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
If a child is problematic, how will you deal with that in the dojo (the preferred name for the classroom).
The interview was flexible and straightforward. Both interviewers were very welcoming and appreciated all types of questions. Plus they were interested in real-life examples of when you had to deal with certain situations.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Code Ninjas
Interview
Reached out via a code sensei I knew. A couple weeks later, got an interview with a branch manager. Single interview, mostly on behavioral and past experience notes. It was a great experience as the manager was very open and honest about what they needed in terms of scheduling and what to expect.
