I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at City Year (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2013

      Interview

We follow the "WHO" method for hiring. Buy the book and you will know the questions that you will be asked. You basically walk the interviewer through your past professional experiences.

      Interview

initial 30 minute phone interview, then a virtual interview with a panel of city year staff. I didn't make it past that point but I believe there is one more interview after that followed by reference and background checks.

Applied online and heard nothing back. Was disappointing considering I am very qualified and have plenty of City Year experience. To not even get an acknowledgement or an email back speaks volumes.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at City Year

      Interview

The first round is an interview, then an in person, followed by a round table panel, then a 1-1 with the executive director. This seems intensive, but it also allows you the opportunity to really make sure the fit of the role is correct.

      Question 1

What does diversity equity and inclusion mean to you?
