Contacted by HR and had a chat about background and compensation expectations. Compensation was pennies more than I was currently making but decided to continue talks to see where it goes. Next interview was with a more senior counsel/manager. Conversation went well. Told what next steps were and expectations about the hybrid schedule. Thought it went well because I had the right background. Weeks went by and heard nothing, then got an unceremonious not selected email.

Two telephone interviews (one from Tampa, one from New York) in rapid succession almost immediately after submitting application electronically.
Four weeks later received a call that "they went in a different direction".
