I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cintas (Philadelphia, PA) in Nov 2009
Interview
After an initial phone interview I met with the GMs of two offices and the regional HR lady. This was AFTER I had been in and completed the skills test. Overall, I had 4 interactions with Cintas, but was eventually declined a job.
Make sure you have ready examples of management experience, and answers to typical behavior questions. Including some unique questions (Describe a time when you developed a new approach to doing a previous job and it was adopted by other employyees).
The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Cintas in Nov 2009
Interview
Very lengthy process. Was called by office manager for an informational interview. THe next week I interviewed with the GM of that location, basic behavioral questions. A few weeks later I interviewed with the other service manager at that location. Again, behavioral questions, day in the life, etc. Two weeks later I drove an hour away to interview with another GM for a different location. Finally, three weeks later I had to drive a few hours to interview with the VP and a GM from that town. All interviewers were very professional and easygoing, and each time I was contacted with feedback. After the interview with the VP, an offer was made the same day. It is a very LONG process, but from what I understand that's the policy company-wide. I'm glad the process is over and I look forward to joining the team at Cintas. I will say it is nice to talk to several people to get their view.
