I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Chevron (Luanda, Distrito de Luanda) in Jan 2019
Interview
I'm so disappointed with Cabgoc a subsidiary company from Chevron In Angola, I applied for Facilities Engineering Intern position in Angola, the Interview has been quite good, but at the end of the day, just fake promises and I asked myself if they really hired someone for this position. Horrible HR Management in Luanda, they invited candidates for their process, but don't provide a summary about the interview, they take a lot of time to give a feedback for the candidates. In overall the recruitment process in this company in Angola, it is not clear. I left an advice for the management team in US, you need to improve a lot, I mean a lot your HR Management team in Luanda. In addition, recruit the best people, because your HR Team in Luanda selected people for the interview by nepotism and connection and they are not really professional. Please, don't play with young people who are looking for the first job opportunity and take time to apply on your career website, I advised your Team in Luanda to give feedback for candidates in short period when you know that you will not proceed with their application or candidature. Horrible experience, bad HR Team, jealous HR Team, fake recruiters, a lot of nepotism, liars. Completely disappointed, not because I did not get an offer but much more because of the things happened, which I consider as tremendous lack of respect and humanism for human being.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Just easy questions about your past experiences at University like leadership, group work, voluntary etc. nothing difficult?
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Chevron (Houston, TX) in Sep 2025
Interview
Interviewed by two people in the respective field. They were very welcoming and made the interview process less nerve-racking. The questions they asked were normal interview questions, not very many difficult questions were asked.
The interview process was on Zoom with a four person panel. I received a lot of behavioral questions such as, “tell me a time when…” Each interviewee went and asked me multiple questions. It wasn’t as conversational as most interviews are at the beginning, but after being more comfortable, my personality was able to shine at the end.

Question 1
Tell me a time when you had a conflict at work or school
Single round online call with the hiring manager. Questions include personality/fit stuff and slightly more technical questions include asking about your excel proficiency and other data visualisation tools. Overall an easy interview.
