I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Centene in Feb 2023
Interview
30 minute interview with hiring manager on Teams after a prior technical screening by a recruiting agency. Questions were mainly about background and if there was any experience using various things. Decision was made a week later.

Question 1
Do you have experience using Agile practices? Have you used source control technology like Git?
Very nice people, but chaotic process. Had to reschedule, but then was told to interview at the original time, 10 minutes before. Completely ghosted after 3 interviews. Not professional. A courtesy email is appreciated.

Interview
Overall, the process went pretty smoothly. I went through 2 rounds of interviews (1 hour each), one with the direct manager and another with related senior managers. I initially received an email to provide my availability for the interview and set that up. All the interviewers were very kind and asked good questions. The interviews were very back and forth conversations and they allowed me to ask lots of questions. It was one of the more enjoyable interviews I’ve had.
The entire process is very long though so be aware of that. Though I did go through during the holidays so that probably lengthened the process even more. It seems like a nice place to work from the short time I spoke with the interviewers.
My only ick throughout the process was when they asked my salary expectations via text messaging. I wasn’t expecting the text but I did appreciate their transparency with the budget for the role. It was a bit lower than my target so that may be why I didn’t get an offer. It was a stellar experience otherwise.
