The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Centene
Interview
Screening was amazing, They were warm and informative. The second stage most of the interviewers seemed like the did not want to be there. They were pleasant. Interview questions seemed to come from AI.
I applied online. I interviewed at Centene in Nov 2024
Interview
I almost never review phone screenings, but this was the worst one I've had. I had a phone screen with what I think was an internal recruiter. Even though I was given the chance to explain my experience, the whole call felt rushed. The recruiter spoke very fast as if she just wanted to get it over with. She seemed uninterested in having an actual conversation and I just didn't like the overall energy of the phone call. Then the next week, I was hit with a rejection from a NO-REPLY email. Here's some advice, if your recruiters are going to be brief like that, at least meet the candidate in person or over a zoom interview to really get to know them and their background before rejecting them. I'm sure recruiters repeat the same things every day and feel like their job is repetitive, but that's the nature of the job. Due to how careless she sounded, all I can think of is that they already have someone they secretly chose to hire and were just hitting a quota.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Centene (Honolulu, HI) in Jun 2022
Interview
The interview process involves being contacted by an internal recruiter, who will do an initial screening over the phone to discuss your qualifications. After the initial screening your schedule for an actual interview, which will usually be conducted over video (Zoom or Microsoft Teams). The interview is very formal and is usually a panel interview, the hiring manager along with One or two peers. It is very formal interview process and the questions are behavioral and follow the standard STAR format.
