Question 1
Why are man hole covers round? How many balloons would it take to fill this room? Normal interview questions about employment history and experience.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Centene (Little Rock, AR) in Jan 2017
Interview
I was contacted by a wonderful recruiter from Aerotek about this urgent need position. After applying for this position, it took me two months plus to even get an appointment for an interview and another 10 days to actually interview. I arrived well before my interview time; the interviewer arrived well after the interview time. I was given the name of the interviewer but there were actually two people that tag-teamed the process. I felt the process was very awkward because it was evident neither had much experience interviewing. They read questions from a printed script but they were stepping on each other's questions. Both seem more concerned about my previous job than the job I was applying for with Centene. I explained that I understood the job with Centene was quite different from my previous job (i.e. salary, work from home) but I was no longer working at that job! Still the focus on the interview was on how I would feel working in an office setting instead of work from home (again, I was no longer working with the work from home company)! My recruiter Karena was excellent. After my interview, she followed up with me on how I thought the process went. I explained my feelings about it which was unsure giving the focus on my previous job. I never receive any post-interview response from Centene - neither yeah, nay or get lost! I felt the interviewers made their decision assuming that I could not adapt to the new working environment. I was more than qualified for the position. I find not responding very unprofessional since I took the time and prepared for the interview, arrived early and was professionally dressed. I deserved at least a response from this company. P.S. My recruiter helped me prepare for the interview by re-formatting my resume and by giving me updated interview tips (I hadn't been in the job market in some time).

Question 1
Where do you see yourself in 10 years (so generic and typical)?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Centene (Tempe, AZ) in Dec 2013
Interview
A couple phone interviews, one in person interview with two people. Friendly and easy going staff.Be sure to dress professionally. Don't be late. I waited a long time for the job offer. This company takes a long time to extend offers. It helps to have an employee referral.
