I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Centene (Clayton, MO) in Mar 2019
Interview
I was brought in three times to meet with two different groups and it had gone well but seemed to be moving nowhere, yet they kept bringing me back in. The last time they brought me in had been a month after the previous time.
I applied online. I interviewed at Centene (Jacksonville, FL) in May 2021
Interview
It was a three panel interview where they asked questions describing different scenarios. The scenarios were fairly easy to answer just using real life experiences. Everyone on the panel asked questions and they also gave an opportunity for you to ask questions concerning the position.

Question 1
Describe a difficult situation and how did you handle it.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Centene (New York, NY) in Apr 2021
Interview
I received an unsolicited email from their internal recruiter. I've always wanted to work for Centene so I replied back expressing my interest. The recruiter replied to me very quickly (same day) and spoke to me about what I'm looking for and my experience. She then set me up for an interview for the next week.
The interview was via video with the hiring manager, team lead, and a staff nurse. They were on time for the interview and started with a few ice breaker questions. I was so nervous during the interview and actually messed up my answers despite rehearsing ahead of time. All 3 people were so friendly, warm, and understanding of the fact that I was incredibly nervous.
A week later, I found out that I was selected for the position. The entire interview process from the internal recruiter to the hiring manager was great and I always felt like I could reach out to either one with any questions (I didn't need to tho). The process was quick which shows the company respects candidates' time and they kept me updated on the next steps in the timeframe promised.
They answered my questions thoroughly, there was no canned answers. They were honest with what to expect during busy times and clearly explained what would be expected of me if selected. They also gave me a pretty good idea of the company culture.
