Interview
First round screening interview was very pleasant. The HR recruiter I spoke with was easy to talk to and seemed genuinely interested in learning about my background to find the best fit. She said that she believed I would be a good fit for either this exact posting or other similar open positions, so much that she might end up sending me links to additional applications. I interviewed on a Tuesday, and she said she anticipated that I should hear from either her or the hiring manager by the end of the week. I didn't hear anything that week, so I gave them another week beyond that before I sent a follow-up email. It has now been yet another week and I still haven't heard anything, but my application status says I am still under consideration. I am trying to be patient, but it is difficult to go so long without any communication from them.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
For first round: Asking for a general walk through work history and skills.
I applied online. I interviewed at Centene in Jul 2022
Interview
Had an interview scheduled. Was suppose to be a 3 panel interview, but one man decided that he was too busy or could care less and didn’t show up. That was a red flag. Then one person was scrambling to find what questions she wanted to ask. I asked about training and they basically laughed and told me they don’t have training. That was another red flag. The whole time I felt uncomfortable. Everything about my education and experience I felt like they questioned because of my skin color. I’m actually glad I didn’t get the job because if that is who I would be working under everyday…I know I would be miserable.

Interview
I actually got two separate interview offers from two different hiring managers. This is because I applied to multiple Business analyst positions. The Talent Attraction Coordinator contact me to schedule the interview date and time. Here’s my experience with both interviews:
Interview 1: The interview was with the hiring manager only. It was for 14 minutes the most and it was scheduled to last at least 30 minutes. She told me to not think that it’s anything wrong it’s just since she’s not doing a panel interview it’s shorter. She asked behavioral teamwork questions. She told me that I will hear back from her March 22, 2022 and didn’t receive a response until April 12, 2022. The interview wasn’t bad with the questions but I feel that she just threw anything at me to get it over with.
Interview 2: This was a panel interview. The hiring manager, Business analyst III and a Business analyst IV. When the camera first turned on for the interview I see the hiring manager with a serious look on her face. And I even smile and she turned her head away from the camera. All she stated was I’m waiting for the others. No hi or smile or nothing. Then before they came she also stated “Just be prepared my team asks a lot of questions and get really in debt for the position and it’s not like their bullying or anything but I be surprised at the questions they ask in interview” Automatically, I was turned off. An interview is not an integration. When the rest of the team came on camera, the hiring manager began to smile. And the guy that came on camera had a skully on his head and walking through his front door from a flight he caught. Very awkward! It was very uncomfortable and I just politely ended the interview because I said to myself if this the manager and team I’ll be working with is like this I don’t want to work for a company like this.
I had high hopes for this company because I have one friend that works here but now I’m hearing she’s looking for something new.
Also before any of them called me for an interview my profile where you check you application status was “In consideration by hiring manager” for a month in a half.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
First interview from another hiring manager, Behavioral questions:
Have you ever had a team mate you disagreed with?
How do you prioritize?
The second interview was more in details. It’s like she made up the first two questions and they took turns digging deeper into my answer. Don’t remember the questions cause they was outlandish!
