I virtually interviewed for the Pricing Analyst position at Caterpillar. I wasn't selected, but enjoyed the interview process. Make sure to follow the format they give you a head of time when answering questions.

Interview
1 hour of situational questions in a panel interview. There were 3 interviewers, and each asked 2 questions. They expected to hear what was the situation, how you managed it and what was the action you took.

Question 1
1. Building trust. Give me an example the time when you had to earn other people's trust.
2. Capability. Can you tell me about the time when you have to try new approach in a task/project/assignment, what did you do and what is the result?
3. Initiating action. Are you generating any new ideas or suggestions?
4. Technical knowledge. Give me an example of an assignment where you work to show your analytical ills/expertise ?
5. Tell me about a time that you have to work as a fast pace for a long period. What kind of work did you do and how do you manage to pace and balance all your priorities.
6. Why do you think you are the best candidate for this job?
Interviewed with CAT at a job fair. All questions were STAR based. The interviewer took a ton of notes during my answers to the questions. In the 15 minutes allotted for the interview, there were about 10 to 12 questions asked.

There was nothing too off the wall. There were common questions, such as "What is one thing that you have done wrong recently, and what would you have done otherwise in hindsight to correct it" and "Tell me about a time that you had a conflict with a team member (in work, school, etc.) and how you handled the situation."
