I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Catalent Pharma (Baltimore, MD) in Jun 2019
Interview
I applied online and within 10 minutes a recruiter emailed me to set up a phone interview. I spoke with him two days later for about 20 minutes and he asked some basic questions about my resume and experiences. We then set up an hour-long interview with a team of managers for the next week. I drove 7 hours out there and they put me in a hotel the night before and then my interview was at 2:30 PM the next day, which wasn't ideal since the hotel made me check out at 11 AM. I show up for the interview and they put me in a little room and at 2:30 one lady walks in, looking like she doesn't know what's going on. She apologizes for being late even though she wasn't, which wasn't a good sign. She then says the rest of the managers are busy and might come later. Next she explained the job, which wasn't the job i applied for. I applied for manufacturing associate II, but she said they were only considering me for associate I, which pays much less. I asked why I wasn't being interviewed for the job i applied for and she said that one of the other managers usually decides that, but he's busy. She then asks me a bunch of the common questions that you can find if you just look up "common interview questions" and at that point only 10 minutes had gone by. She then says "ummm, i'll see if anyone else from the team is coming" and left the room. She comes back a minute later and says "yeah they're busy so i'll just walk you out." Less than 15 minutes out of this hour-long interview had gone by and i was already walking out the front door. I drove the 7 hours back home and then a week later i get a generic email saying they decided to go with one of the other applicants and that i should check out their other jobs that are posted (which i will never do after this experience). They didnt pay for the gas or any of my meals, which is not good since i drove 14 hours in total. Overall i recommend avoiding this company.
