I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CarMax (McKinney, TX) in May 2023
Interview
I only went through the first interview. Typical rehearsed questions in STAR format. What can you offer us? What is your best asset and yours worst. I just don't see how they believe they can measure talent with the same repetitive questions. The fourth questions well the job pays $15 to $20 per hour (Record scratch). I have 23 years in the automotive industry. So not interested in talent. No, thank you. You can work anywhere for $15/hr. It is a critical role if you make a $3500 mistake on a CVT transmission but hey they make it up with their pay on novice expertise.
