I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CarMax (Jacksonville, FL) in Jan 2013
Interview
So the way it usually works there will be a first phone call interview after you submit you application. Pretty generic stuff how did you hear about us what are you motivations as a person etc. after that its a interview in person if you are selected for it of course you will sit down with two managers. Which will ask you questions basically same stuff as the phone interview but they will throw in questions about what you do in this scenario or this scenario basically there seeing how you handle pressure and its okay to say you don't know the answer. But follow up with I will find out for you if it is a question that requires that. after that once selected for the third interview its to see how you react to showing product to a customer and they will usually make there decision there.

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CarMax (Kennesaw, GA)
Interview
A 30-45 minute phone interview primarily consisting of a brief business case. They called me a week later inviting me for an on site visit. It was longer than most on site interview processes, pretty much 8-4:30 where you interview with 8 or so of the current employees. A mixture of behavioral and case type questions during these interviews.
