I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CarMax (Richmond, VA) in Mar 2018
Interview
As typical with most companies, you initially speak with a Recruiter.
The interview process begins with a "coffee meeting" prior to formally applying to understand more about the role. This is an informal chat replacing a typical phone interview.
If all goes well, you formally apply online which includes a personality test of ~250 questions.
Next, you are brought on-site for a day of interviews. Primarily panels of two folks along with a lunch job fit interview.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you learned something new to better do your job.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CarMax (Richmond, VA)
Interview
Process began with an online assessment involving basic math and business skills. After a week, had a phone interview with a current Senior Analyst. As noted, this was difficult since there was a case component that was not announced in advance. The case itself was not hard for anyone with previous casing experience though. Two days later was called back and invited to an on site interview, travel expenses covered. This was a gauntlet. It began the night before the actual Super Day, with a dinner with current analysts. Then the day of, several behavioral and case interviews, as well as a drug test. Nothing was too difficult or unexpected, although the cases required a decent level of familiarity with statistics. All the staff I interviewed with were quite friendly, and very curious about my personality and interests. It is evident Carmax heavily emphasizes fit among their analyst classes. Within the next three days, I was contacted by HR who let me know I received an offer. Over all, not the most difficult interview process, but certainly a thorough one.

Interview
Multiple interview process in which various department managers ask you situational questions and judge your responses as positive or negative attributes to the company. Following a few interviews they then collaborate and determine if each interviewee agrees on the positives and negatives of the candidate in question and if everyone agrees on the same points then they go from there. This was the hiring process, as described by my interviewer today. At which point I was offered a job on the spot because the immediate manager was available to review the interviewees notes about my interview. Otherwise all questions were basic
