30 minutes process super easy with generic interview questions. Good pay througjout training and after you get hired the require a drug test. Spit test. It was a good interview process and it was very easy to understand.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CarMax (Birmingham, AL)
Interview
Interview with two Managers. The interview is structured and standard questions are asked. This is the exact interview packet I used for hiring Assistant Managers years ago with 1 question missing (diversity). The hiring manager already knew I wasn’t going to be offered the job. He is supposed to take notes on the interview and score each question, he didn’t take notes.

Tell me about a time when you used teamwork to accomplish a goal?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CarMax (Sacramento, CA) in Jan 2020
Interview
I had a quick phone interview with the HR and it was successful. Then the HR scheduled a in person interview with two managers for next week. The manager that I met face to face was very friendly and personable. The interview entailed STAR questions so make sure you prepare yourself with lots of stories from your previous or current job, After the STAR interview you will then prepare yourself with a mock interview with the same manager and another manager who will play the role of a customer. I thought I did well for the role playing but not sure if it was good enough. Here's a tip: don't focus much on the vehicle but focus more on the client by building a rapport and ask lots of open ended questions.... just be personable. After the role play the first manager shook my hand and said they will contact me in a few days... blah. Here's the thing, in Auto industry if the managers like you then on that same day of the interview you are pretty much hired. You will then speak with the GM and fill out some paper works. However, if the manager shake your hand and say they will contact you in a few day... then you should pretty much start searching for another job.
