Capital One Software Engineer interview questions

Interviewed at the Richmond Office. There were three interviews; Behavioral, Case interview, and a Technical interview. Each interview was 45 mins. The process was very smooth and the people were all very friendly. Study up on basic data structures and use the material they provide to prepare for the case interview. The behavioral interview is very standard.

Candidates are provided with the interview format in advance and recruiter usually mentors the candidate ahead of time to be prepared for their style of interview which is unique to IT services company.On the day of the the onsite screening , mostly comprised of a Case Method Interview , Technical Interview and Situational Interview rounds where interviewers mostly from the project team access the candidate's experience using different methodologies to determine if the candidate is job fit .The entire process spans across the day with different interview panels and feedback is given to the candidate on the interview performance .
