I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Capital One (McLean, VA) in Oct 2016
Interview
Took a few weeks. 3 interviews with various people at the company, one of each technical, behavioral, and case. Technical was position specific. Overall a very well rounded interview process.

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Capital One (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2017
Interview
I applied online as part of a conference I went to and was invited to the first round interviews. I was given a take home coding assignment to do before the interview, it wasn't very hard, took me around 2 or 3 hours. I had a skype interview with a manager and an engineer where they went over my assignment submission and asked some technical/behavioural questions. I received an offer following the interview.

Interview
Basic behavioral, technical, and case interview. Other reviews hit the nail on what the interview process is like. If you go through Cracking the Coding interview book you should be okay for the technical portion. They let you know if you got an offer within days.
