Contacted by a recruiter.
This was followed a 70 minute, proctored, online coding challange via Code Signal.
This was followed by a 4 hour gauntlet of online, virtual interviews with various employees. Including a coding challenge, two case studies and a behavioral interview.
Oddly enough, the members of Capitol One leadership I met during the interview seemed completely unfamiliar with their company's own hiring process.
Following the 4 hour interview I was rejected a few days later. Recruiter adamantly refused to give ANY feedback. Citing company policy and some vague, non-specific regulations. Not even so much as a "you did poorly on X section" or "you failed to demonstrate Y skill".
This was followed up with an additional slap in the face of a suggestion that in six months I could re-apply and spend another day of PTO and 4 + more hours to go through the dog-and-pony show. Again, adamantly refusing to give any sort of hint or indication as to what I could do to achieve a more favorable result.
Disgusting lack of respect and professional courtesy towards job candidates.
