I applied through other source. I interviewed at Capital One (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2025
Interview
One of the product managers reached out on LinkedIn about the availability of product manager roles in their vertical. The interviewer was a little tense, probably because it was his first interview, I believe. The call was straightforward and focused on my work and skills. The interviewer just wanted to know if I possessed a specific skill or not; it was mostly a yes or no type of questioning.

Question 1
Have you faced any challenges with data in your current role?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (New York, NY) in Mar 2025
Interview
Extremely time-intensive. I got my resume passed to the recruiter and had a pleasant conversation. Really enjoyed the initial product case study as well.
Powerday was absolutely brutal. Its a test of mental endurance more than anything. On top of studying, my biggest advice is to learn how to keep your composure throughout the conversation. I feel like theyre watching for how you react just as much as how you answer each case study.

Question 1
Describe one product that you've worked on in the past?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (New York, NY) in Jul 2025
Interview
The first round was a mini Product case. Power Day was two business cases with some product questions included, a product skill interview, and a product design interview. After that, there will be more conversations with hiring managers (expected some behavioral questions) to match with teams who had openings.
