Interview
Round 1 is a mini case with behavioral questions. Round 2 is a power day that is 4 hours long with 2 consulting cases, 1 product design case, and 1 behavioral case. Similar to what the other interviews said, if you don't do well on all parts you likely won't get it. The 4 hours is very taxing and it sucks they don't give you any feedback on which section didn't go well after interviewing you for such a long time.

1) 30 minutes call with recruiter 2) 1 hour mini product review case study with member of leadership team, 3) power day (5 interviews). All interviews were conducted over phone and zoom.

Product mini case review based on their CapOne Shopping app... 1. Before/after of a direct marketing email - what changed? what are your concerns? how would you improve? 2. Data analysis test - presented with a 4 sets of app usage and conversion metrics . Interpret the results, which test is best, what other metrics would you want to see? 3. You are working with a technology team who can't work on your stuff for 6 months. What would you do and say to convince them that your stuff is more important and should be worked on first? 4. Describe / list out the technical components of a direct mailing email campaign 5. What are the value adds of the Cap One shopping app? A couple gripes ... The shopping app was unrelated to my experience and the job I was applying for. .. When I was told that I did not pass the R1 interview I was disappointed (fine I'll get over it), but then shocked to learn that: 1) I would no longer eligible to pursue a second product manager position that I was simultaneously interviewing for ( I had a R1 interview that was scheduled but then cancelled) AND 2) I would no longer be eligible to apply to any more product manager positions at Capital One for the next 6 months (!!)

Interview
First, there was a quick call with the recruiter. The recruiter walked me through the process. She was amazing! The second round was with the hiring manager. He was great! The third round was a mini case with a Director whose attitude was extremely poor. He seemed disengaged and looked like he is making me a huge favor for interviewing me, rolled his eyes, and was extremely arrogant. I don't want to work for this company!

Great questions and an interesting process. Frankly, the interviewers attitude completely demotivated me to even continue the conversation. I feel bad for not stopping the interview half-way and save my time. I also prepped a week for this interview to see him rolling eyes.
