Question 1
Describe an experience that was difficult at you last job and how you handled it
I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Capital One (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2021
Interview
Not sure if HR was going through a re-org, but initial phone screening was done by a member on the team. Then someone from HR reached out to me for round one of the case study interview process. Overall it went well. But its been 5 months and I have not heard anything even though my application on their website says I'm still in assessment. Very misleading, and very disappointed in the process and their HR reps. For a company that focusing heavily on process engineering, clearly this is lacking in their hiring process. Not a great experience at all.

Question 1
basic screening followed by round 1 of case study. Calc. break even
I applied online. I interviewed at Capital One (McLean, VA) in May 2017
Interview
Capital One has a very structured recruiting process. It starts with a phone interview with the recruiter. From there, the assessment exam is next. Which sections you have to take depend on the role you applied for. Mine assessment included the verbal reasoning and situational judgement. Essentially, critical thinking and leadership style. Once you take and pass that, the next step was a phone interview with the hiring manager. If selected, the next step is what they call the "Power Day". This is essentially a rather full day of interviews with different people. These interviews include Job Fit, Behavioral and a Case Interview.
