Almost a 3 month process. I wouldn't recommend continuing to Power Day unless you're ready for the time investment it will take to prepare. Also keep in mind they put a lot of weight towards the quant questions
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2025
Interview
two rounds of interview: first round with a mini-case and second round with 2 cases. It's mixed of qualitative and quantitive with focus on break-even analysis, profit-loss analysis, and weighted average calculation.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Q1: what factors do you consider
Q2: break-even analysis
Q3: costs comparison
Q4: expected value (weighted average calc)
Easy. 4 rounds. 1 behavioral. 1 coding. 1 “technical business” discussion, and 1 system design round based on resume and experience. Interviewers were nice and fair. Recruiter was very pushy and didn’t give time for me to decide on the offer. That was the only negative part of the experience
