I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One in Aug 2025
Interview
Pros
- Interview scheduling was smooth and timely.
- All interviewers were professional and courteous throughout each stage.
- The process itself was well-structured and clear.
Cons
After completing the final interview in mid-August, I received no update for over a month despite following up.
I was later sent a recruitment survey without any communication about the hiring decision. After another follow-up, I was told to check the status on the Workday account, where I discovered I was no longer under consideration—yet no formal rejection email was ever sent.
During a challenging job market, this lack of closure and respect for a candidate’s time and effort—after participating in three rounds of interviews—was particularly disappointing.
Advice to Management
Provide timely updates and formal closure to candidates. Even a brief note explaining a delay shows respect for the effort candidates invest, and requesting a survey before sharing a decision undermines an otherwise professional interview process.

Question 1
How do I prioritise my task when something urgent came up
pretty standard. 3 back to back interviews. Math heavy but nothing crazy. Practice like any other standard consulting interview and it’ll be fine. Can use a calculator for the math
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Capital One (Bengaluru) in Sep 2024
Interview
3 rounds, one statistics, two case study rounds. From statistics mainly asked regression questions such as homoscedasticity, multicollinearity, outlier detection. Also asked missing value imputation. In the case study round one question was of numerical breakeven.
