first was a personality test, then got sent a take home spreadsheet activity, and then received power day invite which ended up being 3 1 hour interviews (2 business cases and 1 product case)
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Capital One (McLean, VA) in Sep 2025
Interview
Three interviews; two of them were business cases, and one was a product case. They gave you some guidance to prepare for the product case beforehand, and also host workshops to help you get more familiar with the process. Case interviews were very math-foused.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Capital One (McLean, VA) in Apr 2025
Interview
Rigorous interview process, multiple assessments, great meetings, each process takes weeks -- but three times, for three separate job listings, I went to final rounds only to hear they were pulling the position to "rework the scope." I would then be invited to apply to other roles at the same tier, so it didn't appear to be a soft no. But pulling a role months into the interviewing stage three times over is unusual, to say the least.
