Capgemini Software Testing Engineer interview questions

I had a direct technical interview round. Questions were asked more from QA side regarding Automation Selenium using Java and Cucumber. They asked me about the test reporting process. Below are the questions - • What is the difference between Implicit and Explicit wait with example? • What is the difference between ‘/’ and ‘//’ in Selenium? • What is Inheritance with example? • Defect life cycle? • What is Cucumber framework – explain when, this etc.? • What is BDD framework? • Explain Selenium TestNG framework. • What do you do after getting requirements from client, explain process? • Explain about GIT hub version control, how does commit work? • On using 1000 cases how to improve the performance? • Jenkins • Test data sources? • SQL Database testing? • How to switch to windows pop-up using Selenium?

I have call with capgemini panel. i have applied for automation position in first round basic level questions asked by panel for 3 yrs of exp. They ask mostly questions on framework and selenium. x-path,exceptions.etc
