Thanks for this great, honest review: it’s just what we need to keep us on the right track.
From what you say, there are two key areas that we need to work on: salaries and skills. You are confirming the feedback we received from the “Great Places to Work” employee survey that is run as part of the evaluation process that led to us being granted the Award.
What we have actually done in response is as follows:
1. Salaries. We have been carrying out a reassessment of salary levels across the board, and based on this work we have started the process of levelling up.
2. Skills. We have just invested in launched a learning platform where everyone is encouraged to acquire new skills - from technical, to business, through to managerial, and others. We have many more plans for training and gaining experience, as I agree it is vital that people who work at CONTEXT make progress in their ability to serve our clients.
